Andrew's Tornado Book

Andrew loves writing books....tonight he made one so cute
I had to scan it and share it.... I hope you enjoy it as much
as I did! (oh, a steak tornado is from the steam of a steak...)

First Communion

I'm late getting these up, but here are pictures from Andrew's first communion...he was so excited, and it made it even better that we had so much of our family come up for it!
It's a day he will always remember...

Trucks!!!

So a few weeks ago, Dad asked me if Uncle Mike could borrow the boys... he had heard about this truck show...
So Papa O and Uncle Mike took the boys....and a good time was had by all! Thanks Uncle Mike for finding this and inviting the boys! And thanks dad, for picking them up....


The boys were strapped onto this lift,and then the guy looked at the boys and said "take us up", and the boys actually got to do the controls to lift themselves up and down...















Dad didn't get a picture of the hot dogs, which I was told were the biggest they had ever seen (and tasted great)...

Spring break/ Easter

We had our spring break the week before Easter.... the boys had a good time...
We went to Runge Nature Center in Jeff City...







We dyed eggs...




After we dyed eggs, Austin started mixing the colors together.... the Mad Scientist!



We painted the boys room and got Drew a twin bed

They both have a wipey board to write on...

weekend in Halfway

What do you do on a cold rainy weekend? Help put together a puzzle....and blow up a bounce house in Nana's kitchen!

Flowers!

We came home to the best site in months...flowers in our front yard! We had to share... we hope this is a great sign that spring IS on the way....


The boys actually had to squint in the sunlight!


Chevy was happy too...

sorry it's been so long....

I'm so sorry it's been so long since I posted....time has gotten away from me, as well as my laptop was out of commission (along with all the pictures I had put on it). So here's a little of what we've been up to... Andrew put his personal touch on his pinewood derby car....

Drew has been studying about penguins among other winter things....

The boys had their Valentine's Day parties...

Catholic School's week kept us busy....here's a picture of the balloon launch they did for kick off...

We stopped to see the penguins at the Zoo, since the boys were studying about them in school... they kept swimming up to the boys, and even got them wet splashing over the glass! (Austin said he smelled like penguin all day)
