new post

Randy got tickets from his work to go to the Mizzou football game....it was a beautiful day to go, and the perfect game to take the boys to as Mizzou won 52-12. We had an extra ticket so we got to take Drew's friend Kyle...the boys all had a good time....

At every touchdown, this cannon would be fired off...

For Drew's birthday we went to The Mud Room, which was so much fun! They got to glaze their own pottery and we went back the next week after they were fired....they were so proud of them!

It's a boy!

I will never forget Randy saying those words to me eight years ago this morning.
My first baby. My life was changed forever.
What a blessing Andrew has been. He can brighten a day just with his smile, and once you meet him him, you'll never be able to forget him.
He's amazing, and I can't believe how lucky I am to get to be his mom.
Happy Birthday Andrew......

first stiches....

And no, it's not Austin.... we were playing at the neighbor's yesterday and the boys bonked heads.... Andrew had his sunglasses on and I guess they hit just wrong.
Andrew was very brave and got three stiches...
Austin only has a bruise....
we always said Austin drinks so much milk his bones must be pretty strong....

growing too fast...

So I've already been dreading this week. Wednesday my baby will go to kindergarden, and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how this is possible, and how my eight years of being a mom with kids at home with me is coming to an end. So this weekend Austin decided to make sure I understand that he is really this big.....he took his training wheels off....and wrode with two wheels!
I am very proud of him...he was so proud of himself...

The boys decorated these shirts themselves....Austin did science experiments on his, and Drew drew an egyptian scene....
